The Fishing Report: ‘Paddle with a Park Ranger’ tour May 7 at Berryessa
Lake Berryessa … Saturday, May 7 will be the next session of “Paddle with a Park Ranger” from 9 a.m. till noon at the Oak Shores day use area. You’ll need to be an experienced swimmer with a kayak or canoe, as well as life jackets, paddles, sunscreen, hat, water and food. What a wonderful chance to experience the beauty of Berryessa during a two- to three-hour park ranger-led paddle tour. Watch for bald eagles, ospreys, otters and other wildlife as the ranger introduces you to the natural and human history of the reservoir.
